Mishe Mokwa Trail, Malibu CA

  The little sis was in town and wanted to go on a hike so we took her out to Mishe Mokwa in Malibu, CA. Our first time there and its a fun short hike ~ 6-8 mile loop.

Balancing Rock. One of the few landmarks to look out for.

Split Rock. As good a place as any for a quick snack break. Nice and shady area with a picnic table.

Inspiration Point was a little windy but the view is definitely worth checking out. Pacific Ocean in the background!

Sandstone Peak aka Mt. Allen is the highest point in the Santa Monica Mtns. It's about 3111ft. A little bit of a scramble to get to the top but once up top don't forget to sign in the register!
